What is the best health care plan for student while attending medical school, like nursing? I'm a student nursing and ASAP need some health insurance, including Emergency Room coverage. Does anyone know any type of Health Insurance for medical student like that, affordable and reliable? Greatly appreciate and thanks to all,

Most schools have a health coverage program for students and it is usually very inexpensive. Check with your guidance counselor.

I support the sexification of America, do you? No, it is not a sexist thing, but a health vs. obesity issue. More weight control programs in schools, such as cardio, muscular fitness and overall toneness. It is a shame to think that we have a big problem with Americans and obesity. We should not ban our kids from playing Tag or Dodge ball, all can be attributed to lowerings one's body fat and weigth. Don't get me wrong, some big women look sexy, but it's not healthy, maybe more health foods in schools. Also regulate the amount of fattening things processed in foods. A healthy America, A sexy America. That and Socialized Medicine, I do not believe in leaving the rates and prices up to the private insurance providers. Diminish the malpraction payoffs and the people that use the emergency room for a scrape on the knee. Affordable health care for all Americans, that way Americans aren't affraid of getting sick. I'm not against health, but sexy is really in the eye of the beholder.I'll even go you one better than that:Sexy is not the same as sexually attractive.I see all kinds of sexy people that by rights I guess I should want to break one off in-but I don't.Look at it this way-where would music be if Rock n Roll pioneers like Sam Phillips wasted time zeroing in on perfection?It was IMPERFECTION that created that sound (Or as he would say "imperfect perfection")and it is often the imperfections in an otherwise beautiful person by any standards that make them sexually attractive.Even if I wasn't married, I don' t think I could f-uck a woman that didn't have a little meat on her. As for socialized medicine, I think it would be a mistake.American health care is the best (Or at least amoung the best)because it hasn't been socialized.Why should anyone want to find a cure for cancer if they will be paid the same money if they cure it or not?Now socializing medical insurance on the other hand................... Lastly, I have two final comments.I know that you don't see this as a liberal/conservative issue and I certainly see how smug and self rieghteous neocons can get.Still, it is the touchy feely berky libs (not all liberals-just the P.C. variety) that live to ban simple, innocent things like dodgeball and tag from schools.As for foods, I do find it disconcerting that the healthiest things to eat either taste like crap or they cost hat, a-ss and shoes to buy.Makes you wonder if somebody want's it that way. Bottomline-Premise good, details need work.

Individuals under age 19 must: 1. Be a U.S. Citizen, qualified alien or legal immigrant; 2. Be a resident of Hawaii; 3. Provide a Social Security Number; 4. NOT be certified as blind or disabled; 5. NOT be a resident of a public institution; and 6. Meet an income test. What Are the Income Limits? Adults must not have countable family income that is more than 100% of the current Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Children under age 19 must not have countable family income that is more than 200% FPL. Pregnant women must not have countable family income that is more than 185% FPL (her household size includes the unborn child(ren)). What Are the QUEST Asset Limits? You cannot have more countable assets than the amount that is listed. * ,000 for a household of one; * ,000 for a household of two; * 0 for each additional person. * Asset limits do not apply to individuals under age 19, or to pregnant women for the duration of the pregnancy plus 60 days. Who May Apply for Hawaii QUEST? Anyone may apply for QUEST. However, periodically when the enrollment in the program reaches 125,000 people, an enrollment cap will be put into place and no new persons will be enrolled. If enrollment is below 125,000 people on December 31, the cap will be lifted. Should this occur, an open application period will be announced and it will take place in July of the following calendar year. An open application period will only happen once in a calendar year.
