So think before you travel and check your existing health policy to see what it pays for. It may reimburse you for up to 100% of the cost of emergency medical care when you're out of the country, of course, excluding any deductibles or copayments.

          1. Office of Technology Assessment of the Congress of the United States, The Impact of Randomized Controlled Trials on Health Policy and Medical Practice, Background Paper OTA-BP-H-22.

They will study topics like health policy, global financial management, systems in healthcare, and leadership and ethics for managers.“The healthcare management program is especially attractive to students who are already in the healthcare field and want to move their careers in a new direction,” says Stein. But even students who are new to the field can find success with an online degree from AIU Online.By studying healthcare management, students can open the door to a career in a fast-growing, well-paying new field, and they can do it all from the comfort of their own computer screen.

If we were to consider instead a public health policy that utilizes harm reduction, reality education, treatment and maintenance programs, we would save billions (Rand study suggests a return on every dollar such invested), allow hundreds of thousands of otherwise peaceful people to be productive citizens and family members, diminish our drain on welfare resources and free our police and courts to deal with more threatening problems.People in such a system are more than twice as likely to be employed and drug free.In such a system Ms.Comiskey might still be alive.

  • What is the difference between health care policies in the uk and Ireland?
    • biggest difference is lack of an NHS system in Ireland.
  • Yet another failure of neo con health policy?   Australia and New Hamshire have approved the immunisation of girls against the a virus that causes cervical cancer in 95% of cases of cervical cancer. Is there any funds coming from teh white house to immunise ever girl in the USA? nope another failure of the free enterprise model of health care It should be noted that like candian consumers , australian consumers pay up to 75% of the cost of drugs than americans do.
    • I don't think it's a failure... if they don't want you to have it... I'm not sure... but I think the health care industry is TRYING REALLY, REALLY HARD TO BE EVEN LESS EFFICIENT THAN GOVERNMENTS... they seem to be succeeding...
    • It's really sad that you blame so called 'neocons' for that.
  • Can you have mre than one health insurance policy in Michigan?   If you were covered by your work, but wanted additional coverage could you do it?
    • yes you can. you can have primary insurance and additional insurance. Its best to just get one GOOD policy though. Usually the secondary offered is for extremes, like say you found out you have cancer or needed to be hospitalized for a extended length of time. If you want to pay for 2 policies it is ok and you can have as many lfie insurances policies as you want also!
    • Hi, just thought I?d share there?s a company out there who?s helped a lot of people who do not have and need affordable health benefits. They cover regular office visits, specialists like orthodontists, any pre-existing conditions like diabetes and pregnancy and even ancillary care and hospital advocacy. It basically includes everything you need help paying for. There's no high premiums, deductibles, co-pays, waiting periods, claims forms or anything like that at all. They can save you up to 80% on your out of pocket expenses for so much less than all the other companies. It could end up saving you a lot of $$ over traditional insurance. They have a medical plan as well as a dental plan that both include vision, prescription and chiropractic benefits as well. They have over 400,000 providers nationwide as well, so it is available almost everywhere. They are a wonderful company and are members of the Better Business Bureau. They were even featured on FOX News just a couple weeks ago. I know several people who have benefits through them, and everything they say about them is nothing but positive. It?s just crazy how much people are shelling out for their healthcare. I then also got benefits through them and love to be able to tell other people about how much money they can save. Try this website and you can check out the specifics and providers in your area. If your preferred provider isn't on there, he can be added. I hope this helps you and you find what you need. You can email me personally at airforcecontractnegotiator@ yahoo .com (we're military) if you have any questions. Best of luck and happy new year!!
